Jowanda Durham “Rhonda Mitchell”

Coining herself as an “evolving artist,” Jowanda Durham worked the entertainment trenches to find her voice as a performer. She earned a BA in drama from the University of Georgia in May 2000.

After completing a stint as a college administrator, Durham taught drama to elementary and junior high students in the Middle Georgia area. While doing this, in 2005 she penned, produced and starred in the one-woman play “Women of the Bible…

The good…the bad…and the gospel truth.” The show was warmly received by critics and audiences and after several shows, Durham cemented her reputation as an up and coming artist in Middle Georgia.
